Whatever you crave, there’s an eatery that feels like it caters directly to you. You’ll find top-quality Italian, Mediterranean, and Canadian restaurants in Midtown and sprinkled throughout the various Toronto neighbourhoods. Speaking of fine dining, Midtown is not far from some of Toronto’s Michelin-recognized restaurants. Here are a few that you might want to add to your list next time you’re in the area:

  • Osteria Giulia: An instantly recognizable name to anyone who loves top-of-the-line Italian cuisine, Osteria Giulia has earned accolades for its Ligurian-inspired menu.

  • Scaramouche: As a hallmark of Midtown, Scaramouche boasts a view that is almost as delicious as the food. Since this highly desirable hotspot is known for incredible French dining, it’s not surprising that it has received a Michelin Plate designation.

The Symphony Gardens are a great place to catch some live music during the summer concert series. Whatever the season, there’s always something going on, so check your calendar anytime for an event you’ll always treasure.

Spadina House

Spadina House lies right across from Casa Loma. This historic manor turned museum provides a fascinating glimpse into Toronto’s Victorian and Edwardian history. Outside, beautiful gardens await. The fragrance and sight of endless blooms, each more beautiful than the last, is sure to melt away the stress of city life.

Eglinton Grand Theatre

The Eglinton Grand Theatre has been fully restored to its 1936 glory! This historic site from the Depression era was one of the first places to feature the luxury of air-conditioning, all while showcasing some of Hollywood’s biggest films. Today, it’s the perfect venue for special events such as weddings, award ceremonies, fundraisers, and other social gatherings. Venue tours are often available, and keep your eye out for public events.
